Soldotna Creek Park

Soldotna Creek Park

Soldotna Creek Park, located along the banks of the Kenai River, is truly our community's back yard. Residents and visitors alike enjoy beautiful scenery, with boardwalks, gravel paths, and benches all overlooking the stunning Kenai River. The large Fred Meyer Pavilion accommodates events and live music year round, and a community-built playground brings out the kid in all of us. Formerly a DOT maintenance yard, this area has been transformed into a vibrant green space, alive with activity and community gatherings.

The park hosts so many events every year, it would be impossible to list them all here! A few highlights include the award-winning Frozen RiverFest, Alaska's only outdoor, family-friendly winter fest attended by breweries from across the state; the Kenai River Festival; Soldotna Progress Days; and the ever-popular Soldotna Wednesday Market, which includes food and craft vendors, a wide range of food trucks, and live music with the Levitt AMP Soldotna Music Series.
